Mutual funds have net sold central government bonds worth 143 billion rupees ($1.72 billion) over the last seven sessions, including a record single-session sale of more than 60 billion rupees on Monday, data showed.
A significantly large section of fund managers come from the brokerage industry where research analysts rise in the ranks to directly manage funds. But the brokerage industry has largely been a male bastion. Increasingly, fund houses are realising that it s best to recruit women directly at trainee levels and groom them for higher responsibilities.
The investment objective of the scheme will be to generate long-term capital appreciation with income generation by dynamically investing in equity and equity related instruments and debt and money market instruments.
