Proudly sponsored by Aus4Innovation under Australiaâs Department for Foreign Affairs & Trade, the programme will support entrepreneurs from across the globe to solve the most pressing challenges facing Vietnamâs agri-food sector, including enhancing access to quality production inputs, reducing post-harvest losses, building consumer trust, and addressing specific challenges in crops and plantations, fisheries and aquaculture, and livestock.
GRAFT articulated these needs in partnership with industry leaders such as Sao Thai Duong JSC, Minh Phu Seafood Corporation, NIC Group, Beacon Fund, Camimex Group, and Hung Nhon Group, among others.
Mixed fortunes for seafood sector in unpredictable year 14:00 | 04/03/2021
Last year has been a year with ups and downs for the seafood sector. While the consumption and export of basa fish stagnated mostly due to the global health crisis, shrimp farmers still saw a successful 2020. With an array of newly-effective free trade agreements, local seafood providers are now looking towards a future of boosted sales and exports.

According to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP), by the end of 2020, the total value of Vietnamâs seafood exports reached $8.41 billion, down 1.9 per cent on year.
