sign. temperatures are fairly warm to start our day. we re at 69 degrees right now in philadelphia. we re at 70 in wilmington and 72 in dover. coatesville, you re at 68. and 69 in atlantic city. i just checked the water temperature right off of atlantic city and actually it s 68 degrees as well. water temperature picking up a little bit from a few weeks ago, starting to look a little bit better out there. overall, the shorecast not perfect this weekend, because we have the possibility of this happening. some spotty showers and isolated to scattered thunderstorms today and your father s day, as well. a little better chance for us today. you can see some of this green popping on the board. this is going to continue spreading from the southwest to the northeast. not going to be a ton of action. this is not a washout forecast, but we will have that possibility today. so let s look through your morning hours. 69 right now. only about 70 at 8:00 a.m. could see a spot shower picking
today, but you do need to be prepared for some spotty showers and thunderstorms that will move through the area. you ll also need to be prepared for temperatures that are going to boost up into the 80s. humidity that s going to boost up, kind of a sticky day, overall. 0 70 in wilmington. 67 in millville and 69 in atlantic city. philadelphia is at 69 degrees, as well. and we re at 68 in allentown. not a bad start. temperatures feel pretty good right now, but you already are noticing that humidity. you can kind of feel the moisture in the air. you re also going to notice right now some misting outside, some fogginess. and now we actually see that there are some spotty severe thunderstorms that are starting to develop over parts of delaware. a lot of us starting to skip the bay and move into parts of south jersey, cape may county starting to see a little rain moving through. when you see the yellows and oranges, that indicates a little heavier rain, an isolated thunderstorm may
