Dr. Camelia Lawrence is a board-certified surgeon specializing in benign and malignant breast disease. She has fellowship training in advanced breast cancer surgery, including skin and nipple-sparing mastectomy, sentinel node biopsy and oncoplastic techniques.
She is director of breast surgery for the Hospital of Central Connecticut and MidState Medical Center at Hartford HealthCare (HHC).

NEW BRITAIN – The Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute at The Hospital of Central Connecticut will be hosting the inaugural Jill Bertolini Symposium Tuesday, June 8 at Trinity on Main.
“No one fights alone” is the message behind the symposium, which is serving as a fundraiser that is open to the public. It will offer information that could save someone’s life.
Attendees of the symposium will hear about Jill Bertolini’s story and learn information regarding support programs and services available for Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute patients and their loved ones. They will also get information about the latest technology and programs for early detection. There will be a question-and-answer session as well.
