Some mayors in the National Capital Region on Thursday shared their preferred quarantine classification as the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in Metro Manila is set to end on Friday.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) lauded the continuous vaccination rollout in the cities of Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, and Valenzuela also known as the CAMANAVA area amid the prevailing enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) status in the National Capital Region (NCR).

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, May 18) Four guests at a resort which was caught operating despite strict qurantine protocols tested positive for COVID-19, a Caloocan City official confirmed.
Caloocan City Administrator Engr. Oliver Hernandez said on Monday that 123 of the 287 guests of the Gubat sa Ciudad resort have already been contacted and verified.
Of the 123 guests, 43 underwent antigen tests, where four had positive results and one was found symptomatic. The remaining 80 people will be swabbed until Tuesday, he added.
Hernandez said one of the COVID-19 patients has already been transferred to a facility, while the transfer of the others is still being processed.
