The 110th Grey Cup kicked off in Hamilton at 6 p.m. and features the Montreal Alouettes and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The Bombers aim to capture their third Grey Cup in four years.
In honour of the 110th Grey Cup, Hamilton’s James Street North is a sea of colourful costumes and even more colourful characters. The downtown road is closed from York Boulevard to Barton Street East for a party complete with live music, local artists, games and food.
With the 109th Grey Cup game set for Sunday at 5 p.m. at Mosaic Stadium, the Grey Cup Festival will continue this weekend with more events for people to enjoy.
