Memorial announced for 2nd victim of fatal March crash, Chiles student Makayla Campa

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) â A memorial for Makayla Campa will be held on April 15 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Goodwood Museum and Gardens.
Campa was in critical condition following the crash and was declared braindead two days later, according to the family.
Those attending the memorial are welcome to bring photographs or memorabilia to place on a memorial board to create memories of Campa.
The Chiles School Principal, Joe Burgess gave the following statement:

A 15-year-old Chiles High School student who was severely injured Monday in a crash on North Meridian Road is not expected to survive, according to her godparents.
Makayla Campa was a passenger in an SUV that went off the road around 4 a.m. Monday and crashed into trees. Another passenger, Caden Staats, 14, who also attended Chiles, was killed in the crash. The driver, who has not been identified, suffered minor injuries.
Makayla s godparents, Amanda and Matt Osborn, issued a statement thanking the community for all the love and support that it has received since the crash. The family s statement was published by local television stations.
