Search, rescue and retrieval (SRR) operations in some landslide-hit areas in Baybay City, Leyte, have been stopped to ensure the safety of rescuers, a disaster official in the region said Tuesday.
Philippine emergency teams will scale down the search for more than 100 people missing in landslides, halting rescue operations in all but one site, officials said Tuesday.
