good evening. we begin tonight with occupy wall street. thousands of protesters are flooding zuccotti park in lower manhattan tonight after a judge but he ruled they can t bring tents, backpacks and sleeping gear into the park where they ve been living for nearly two months. tonight one of the police officers says it s the biggest, loudest crowd he s seen since the protests began. poppy harlow is at the park for us tonight. what s the mood down there? it must be a rather surreal atmosphere, isn t it? reporter: it s absolutely surreal. i ve lived here, piers, for ten years. i ve never seen anything like this in manhattan. most of us haven t. i would say the mood is twofold. there s a galvanizing element. that is certain. i hear that across the board from protesters. there are also a lot of outstanding questions. what just came down from the new york state supreme court is a ruling that will make it much more difficult for the protesters to camp out here, to live here as they
