The owners of dozens of boats moored on the body of water in California were asked to put the vessels in dry dock, or risk seeing them run aground and be damaged.
At 12:42 p.m., Cal Fire Santa Clara Unit reported responding to vegetation fires in Pittsburg and Alamo in Contra Costa County and assisting with the Lopes Fire in Solano County.
Around 12:55 p.m., Cal Fire SCU said units had also responded to a vehicle fire that extended to vegetation on Highway 17 near Summit Road in the Santa Cruz Mountains in Santa Clara County. At 1:11 p.m., forward progress of the fire had been stopped at under an acre, officials said. Also in Santa Clara County, San Jose Fire Department reported that a 2-acre brush fire at Los Lagos Golf Course was under control by 4:55 p.m., with no injuries or evacuations.

NORTHERN CALIFORNIA Wildfires ignited all over Northern California and parts of the Bay Area on Saturday following the first red flag warning of the year.
The warning, issued for much of Northern California, was originally meant to last until Monday but it was extended through 6 p.m. on Tuesday due to dry and breezy conditions, the National Weather Service announced Sunday.

9:27 p.m. update:
A fire burning in the Oroville Wildlife Area has been knocked down to 6.1 acres and is fully contained, according to the Butte County Fire Department.
The fire department is continuing to mop up the fire with six engines and a dozer. No one was hurt and no structures were threatened by the flames.
The Butte County Fire Department officials did not say when the fire would be extinguished.
