and backhoes but also with shovels. we have photos of some of our military personnel doing that. what is the biggest challenge remaining? now that you ve got that airport open, you can fly in a lot of heavy-lift capability, fly in a lot of other food and supplies, but what s the biggest challenge? they were able to indeed open that airport and we ve been able to fly in several tons of relief supplies. the challenge now is to get it back to where we can get commerce after flights in. that requires more of the radar the normal navigation aids and precision approach equipment and just clearing off the enormous amount of debris from cars to boats to trees that are still left on the airport proper before we can get that completely back up. but it will be much sooner than we ever imagined. jon: lieutenant general burton field, the u.s. commander of our forces there in japan, great work, congratulations to all your
