The Burlington School District has named Robert Scott as the new superintendent, replacing outgoing superintendent Pat Coen, who s last day is June 30.
Burlington, IA- The Burlington Community School District has narrowed the search for a new superintendent to three Candidates. On Wednesday, the three candidates participated in multiple interviews. Burlington Superintendent Pat Cohen said that this is an arduous, but important part of the process. "Today (Wednesday) they're bringing in the three finalists and going through all the different stations," Cohen said. "this is where they meet with community centers of influence, they meet with parents groups, they meet with students, they meet with administrators and teachers, and it's an all-day deal so, yeah it's an arduous day," Cohen said. The three candidates for the new superintendent include; Clear Creek Amana Community School District interim superintendent Joseph Brown, Fairfield CSD superintendent Dr. Laurie Noll, and director of athletics and activities for Centennial High School in Ankeny Robert Scott. Burlington, IA- The Burlington School District has announced their three finalists in the search to find the next Burlington Superintendent. The Three Finalists are Clear Creek Amana Community School District interim superintendent Joseph Brown, Fairfield CSD superintendent Dr. Laurie Noll, and director of athletics and activities for Centennial High School in Ankeny Robert Scott. As a next step, the board and stakeholder interview teams will conduct final interviews with each of the three finalists on February 16. The board plans to then discuss the candidates and reach a final decision soon after the formal interviews. The new superintendent will begin serving the Burlington Community School District effective July 1, 2022.
The new clinic will provide new options for students, staff and families to receive health care at school. The clinic is open 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
