A THIRD of people in Braintree have received two doses of a Covid vaccine, figures reveal. Data shows that 40,623 people had received both jabs by May 9 – 33 per cent of those aged 16 and over. Of those to have received both jabs, 36,781 were aged 40 and over – 44 per cent of the age group. It means 3,842 people aged between 16 to 39 have received both doses. The NHS vaccine data also reveals variation in coverage for residents who had received at least one dose between different areas across Braintree. Across Braintree, 68 per cent of those aged 16 and over have had one jab.
