too many people have lost sight of the true meaning of christmas. oh, hush. shot off, ralphie. a christmas story is the greatest christmas movie ever made. yes, it is a must watch every year. jean shepherd basically reached into every single american s head, took out their best christmas memory and threw it on to a script. really does drive home what it s like to be a kid and have that one thing. ralphie wants the red ryder bebe gun. you re going to shoot your eye out. the father gets the ridiculous leg lamp that he insists on putting in the window. oh, you should see what it looks like from on here. not a box arrives on my doorstep that says fragile. that i don t say out loud, even maybe just to myself. right. geely. it must be italian. the bunny suit. the friend sticks his tongue out and it gets stuck to the pole. we all tried that after we saw that scene.
