talking about two soldiers who gave the ultimate sacrifice in the wars. our next guest is the father of one of those men and his best friend. he s written a book about them now. it s called brothers forever. colonel tom mannion is my guest. great to see you, colonel. we heard the president speaking about brendan and his friend. why write the book, colonel? well, gretchen, we lost travis in 2007 in iraq and fallujah with all the activity going on over there. then we lost brendan in afghanistan in 2010. and that following spring the navy s.e.a.l.s caught, captured and killed osama bin laden. and the president spoke, as you shared with the audience, spoke about travis and brendan as a great example for the country. i thought it was important to
