Adopt a Pet From This Binghamton Animal Shelter National Pet Day is April 11th and you could put a smile on a cat s or dog s face. Colleen Paige, pet and family lifestyle expert, started National Pet Day in 2006 and they are celebrating its 15th year on Sunday. She wanted to bring attention to the ongoing needs of pets of all kinds that are waiting to be adopted. During the past year were you quarantined, stuck inside, bored, lonely, or stressed? Then you know the kind of life that a shelter pet is living. Broome County Humane Society I have 3 pets, 2 cats (Shane and Capricorn), and 1 dog (CJ). We adopted the cats from the Broome County Humane Society, 167 Conklin Avenue in Binghamton. The BC Human Society receives no government funding, so the pandemic was extremely hard on them.

You Can Help Out The Broome County Humane Society

You Can Help Out The Broome County Humane Society We love our animals and would do anything for them. I currently have two Greyhounds and an Italian Greyhound. Or is he is a Whippet? We don t know for sure. He s too big to be considered an Italian Greyhound, but too small to be considered a Whippet, so we just call him The Kraken, because he can emerge from underneath a blanket at any time and terrorize us, usually with lots of kisses. If you are looking for animal non-profit services or looking to adopt, there are many in our community waiting to assist you. And one of them is the Broome County Humane Society.
