President obama took the oath of Office Yesterday in a small ceremony in the white house, keeping with that little matter of the constitution which mandates the january 20th will be the transition day from one president ial term to the next. Vice President Biden was sworn in at his official residence yesterday morning. Our capital packed with visitors and dignitaries on a very chilly washington day but nothing like it was four years ago. You see the crowds out, maybe a third as many as last time and not nearly as cold. The winds are pretty calm. Temperature is in the low 40s. It will get cold tonight.
