Review: 'In Treatment' Thinks You Could Use a Session, America

Review: ‘In Treatment’ Thinks You Could Use a Session, America Set in the moment when the country is coming out of a year of quarantine and unrest, the HBO talk-drama’s revival is uneven but relevant. “In Treatment” returns to HBO on Sunday with Uzo Aduba replacing Gabriel Byrne as the central therapist.Credit.Suzanne Tenner/HBO May 21, 2021Updated 12:37 p.m. ET America, even more than usual, has some stuff it could stand to talk through.
