Continue to have that one lane blocked. But we just got word that all lanes are now back open. Maybe they thought it was causing a big backup. So southbound 101 approaching san antonio road we are still seeing some really big delays by the novato dump coming out of Sonoma County into marin county. But for right now, we should start to see some of those delays dissipate because they did just reopen that lane. Maybe they will go back to continuing to fix it later. Two right lanes hear is probably not going to hawaii thats because investigators right here found some new evidence and theyre looking into that right now. They want to make sure before they open this freeway or any parts of it that they have looked into everything right here. We know this crash happened just after 3 00 and here we are. Almost three hours later. Now the northbound lanes we expect those to be closed until at least 7 30. So again, all lanes closed. This is a major thoroughfare right here. Major freeway. One of the busiest in the bay area by far the busiest in the east bay. So this is going to be a real headache. I took 580 on the way over here. So thats probably going to be the alternate and liz will keep you uptodate on all the alternate routes of course. Traffic out there. We havent had any major problems so far this morning. Dublin interchange interchange caltrans overnight in the eastbound direction of 580. They had a couple of lanes shut down in greenville. They should be in the process of picking that up. Westbound 580 slow leaving the altamont pass. Its going to be heavy from grant line in patches to the livermore valley. Bay bridge computing leaving oakland still fine at the toll plaza. Hopefully toll lane number 11 has been reopened. It had been shut down for a while. 880 237 in the south bay is free and clear of any major problems but if you a north bay driver its not affecting major freeway traffic. Palo alto. And in chicago, Police Worked through the night investigating a scene where 13 people were shot including a 3 yearold boy. As Wendy Gillette reports, its the latest incident in a wave of violence in chicago. Reporter gunmen shot up a park in chicagos south side. There was a lot of shots, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. I heard 20 shots. Reporter 13 people were shot. Three are in Critical Condition including a 3yearold boy shot in the head.
