The 26-year-old from Springville, Ala., only a 30-mile drive from the Gadsden City Boat Docks, caught a four-day total of 20 bass weighing 57-09. He capped the competition with a 14-01 limit on day 4, the third-heaviest of the day.

The Springville native landed 57 lbs. 9 oz. to land the blue trophy Monday at the 2021 Whataburger Bassmaster Elite at Neely Henry Lake. He beat Paul Mueller, who was 1 lb. 6 oz. back in second place. “I give it all I had,” Logan said at Monday’s weigh-in. “I’ve led some tournaments going to the last day but never been able to close it out. To do it here on this body of water as many hours I’ve spent here, it just makes this that more special, and to do it in front of all of these people it’s even more special. The good Lord blessed me.”

Communications Staff Despite a slow start, a big loss and a painful injury, Brandon Card caught a Day-3 limit of 2110 And retained the lead at the Lake Fork Bassmaster Elite Series in Texas. Entering day 3 with an 11-ounce lead over Quentin Cappo, Card bolstered his first two days’ weights of 27-06 and 28-01 to tally a three-day total of 77-01. Card heads into Championship Sunday with a 3-pound cushion over Cappo. Camping in Little Caney Creek the first two days, Card spent most of his time on a shallow point he called his “Hammer Hole” and leveraged a shad spawn for the majority of his fish. Today, that bite proved elusive and Card had to make position and presentation changes.

Communications Staff Sticking with a bold plan, but making key adjustments was the winning formula for Jason Christie, whose four-day total of 43-15 topped the field at the Sabine River Bassmaster Elite Series in Orange, Texas. Claiming his sixth Bassmaster victory, Christie posted his best effort on day 1 with a 2nd-place limit of 15-01. He took over the top spot on Friday by adding 13-14 and held that position on day 3 with a limit of 6-12. He closed the deal with a final-round limit that weighed 8-04.
