Hilaria Baldwin is apologizing for not being clearer about her cultural identity a month after social media users accused her of pretending to be Spanish even though she was born in Boston.
After responding to the controversy in an Instagram video last December, Baldwin returned to the social media site on Friday to say she s spent the last month listening, reflecting, and asking myself how I can learn and grow.
Though she reiterated she was raised with both American and Spanish cultures and feels a true sense of belonging to both, she added that the way I’ve spoken about myself and my deep connection to two cultures could have been better explained.
