The Malibu, California, beach house once home to the late actor Steve McQueen hit the market Thursday for $12.2 million.
Known as the “the king of cool,” the actor lived in the home with his then-wife, box office star Ali MacGraw, in the 1970s, according to listing agent Shen Schulz of Sotheby’s International Realty Malibu Brokerage.
McQueen was most active in the 1960s and early 1970s and best known for films such as “The Great Escape,” “The Thomas Crown Affair” and “Bullitt.” He died in 1980 at the age of 50.
