Artifacts,merican the second part of our visit to the National Firearms museum. We join the exam director in the civil war gallery. We are entering the civil war galleries of the National Firearms museum. On my left represents the union and on my left, the confederacy. We see numerous examples of the carbines the union was using. This was a time of rapid advance in firearms design. This is one of the carbines used in the raid on Harpers Ferry by john brown. One of the events that initiated the civil war.
