I love the buchanan mall area that was transformed when citizen film and green street and others made it a point to make it a livable area. When i say livable, it was just a bearren land before. Nothing was there but neighbor a basketball court. Now there are beautiful flowers and herbs and Entertainment Center to it is and read a book in the warm sunlight. It makes tourists really want to stop by and visit and look at our murals to see what we are doing in the neighborhood. At one point we had a beautiful garden there were i would pick my Collard Greens and cook and eat them, of course. I am looking forward to the concept to be done with the new area because i am sure it is going to be successful, and i am hoping that as much funding as possible can be given to that area, too. Of education law and the process and i was talking about a principle today and she was explaining the difference between an io4 and the other document. In my heart there is a lot of issues and its like going to the doctor and getting a diagnosis that youre uncomfortable with. I want to urge our legal team, communications team, and those that work with family liaisons, i dont know know of ways that were educating people on their rights. Parents can request assessments and its confusing how do we do that. I dont think its Common Knowledge that a parent can say theyre concerned about their comments and they want them assessed. If your child is assessed and you want them to go through the process, im not aware of any protocol for educating families on their rights. Maybe we have that, but its not visible on the website. If i dont know it, im assuming im one of those pretty involved parents. I look for those handouts and things to help families. I dont even know where to look. So i think we

I was just observing the conversation. I want to thank the department odepartmentof building inspectir staff. They are amazing. This is not easy. Our office works very closely, particularly with tom. I want to reiterate we have the Disability Access fund, which we are working with small businesses, and we do work with small Property Owners who are financially challenged in achieving access. That is from in helping the Property Owners comply for those that have limited income and working with the businesses as well. I think it is, you know, we are still dealing with many Property Owners who have had properties for a long time, particularly in the commercial corridors that are still adjusting that they have a responsibility to comply, and i feel this ordinance as challenging as it has been, we need to remember that o
In compliance with the i. P. M. Ordinance and implements that into their training opportunities. Over the last several years, they dont apply herbicide as part of their programs anymore. We felt that overall consistent with the citys i. P. M. Ordinance directives, which is to use application as a last resort, that was an environmental benefit. We were able to work with them on changing it and hopefully to the benefit of everyone on the island. And then finally, weve been working with them as i talked about earlier on the stewardship segment, a variety of demonstration gardens on y. B. I. I think were trying to get more participation from different segments of the community, but if theyre driving by them and learning from them, thats a good thing, as well.
