Man arrested for alleged murder of son … accomplice prophetess on the run

The Central Regional Police has arrested, Paul Adobaw for the alleged murder and burial of his one-and-half-year-old son alive, at Breman Brakwa, in the Central Region.
Police are on the manhunt for Ama Nkansah, who claims to be a prophetess, and resident of Gomoa Eshiem.
The Police Public Relations Officer of the Central Regional Police Command, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Irene Oppong, who confirmed the story, said the suspect was arrested following a complaint to the police that he allegedly killed his son, Yaw Adobow, who had a deformity which made him unable to walk.

A 32-year-old lady on national service duty at Abura Dunkwa, Seida Barfo, met her untimely death in a ghastly accident on Ajumako Besease to Breman Bedum road Monday morning.
It is unclear what caused the car which had only the driver and lady onboard somersaulting several times and landing upside down.
The lady who was the Financial Secretary at Breman Bedum Ahmaddiya Muslim Mission was reportedly going for a meeting at her hometown, Breman Bedum when the accident occurred.
Kasapa News Yaw Boagyan reported that the driver luckily survived but is in critical condition and currently receiving treatment at the Ajumako Government Hospital.

A 40-year-old mentally ill man has chopped off the left arm of a 58-year-old woman identified as Adwoa Mansa and injured six others at Ajumako-Badukrom in the Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam District of the Central Region.
The victims who were attacked unprovoked in the early hours of Sunday, February 28, included Asher Osman, 75, whose daughter s left hand was chopped off.
Three teenage males who were on their way to the farm also received various degree of injuries but were treated and discharged.
Currently, Madam Mansa and her mother, also a victim, are responding to treatment at Our Lady of Grace Hospital at Breman Asikuma also in the region.
