An arrest warrant for felony assault was served Tuesday against a Hopkinsville man for an incident on the Fourth of July in Todd County.
Investigation by the Todd County Sheriff’s Office determined 22-year old Brandon Cummings of Pilot Rock Road, Hopkinsville allegedly used kitchen utensils to injure a woman Sunday and threatened to kill her while holding knives.
He’s also accused of wrapping an electrical cord around the victim’s neck and attempting to strangle her.
Cummings also damaged property at the home, according to the warrant.
He’s charged with second-degree assault, first-degree strangulation, third-degree criminal mischief, terroristic threatening and first-degree wanton endangerment.
