La Crosse Center allowing limited amount of fans for upcoming events
The local venue is hosting 1,000 fans for the WIAA Girls and Boys State Basketball Tournaments starting next weekend

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Dead silence inside the arena bowl at the La Crosse Center has become the norm because of COVID-19.
“We did not have anything with the exception of curbside pick-up for Thanksgiving dinner in 2020 after that all hit,” La Crosse Center director Art Fahey said.
But in 2021, the noise has picked up a little bit.
The venue hosted the Midwest Players Classic last month.
