Newark listings: Jailed for hospital burglary, suspended sentence for assault and threats to kill, as well as drink and drug drivers

A MAN who burgled the podiatry unit at Newark Hospital has been jailed.
Jamie Kavanagh, 47, of Willis Road, Newark, admitted the March 18 burglary.
Nottingham magistrates decided Kavanagh had a flagrant disregard for people and their property and jailed him for 18 weeks.

Nurses working at Newark Hospital had just called Nottinghamshire Police when they saw officers in a patrol car on Bowbridge Road at around 6.25pm and told them a man had broken into the building and cycled off towards the town centre.
