Immigrant storytellers will share their personal stories and reflect on 2020 in an event on January 14. While 2020 challenged everyone, immigrants and refugees have been disproportionately impacted by COVID-19. On January 14, 2021, the City of Boston Mayor’s Office for Immigrant Advancement (MOIA) and the International Institute of New England (IINE) will host a free virtual performance of Suitcase Stories: Boston Immigrants Unpack 2020 . During the program, Boston immigrants will share poignant, personal accounts from 2020 and their hopes for the new year.
