An africanamerican police officer. Reporter tension remain high as crowds gathered in charlotte to protest the shooting death of scott. Less than 24 hours earlier these demonstrations erupted in violence. Some threw rocks and bottles. Police used tear gas to control the crowd. 16 officers were injured, five people arrested. Scotts daughter live streamed the aftermath of the shooting on facebook.
