Spectrum 3 Spectrum 3 is led by Detroit saxophonist/multi-instrumentalist Skeeter C.R. Shelton. One of many iterations, Spectrum 3 is a trio with long-time collaborator and fellow Detroit-based creative musician Joel Peterson on double bass and new contributor James Baljo on percussion.
Michael Formanek Drome Trio The Michael Formanek Drome Trio consists of Michael Formanek on double bass, Chet Doxas on tenor and soprano saxophones, and clarinet, and Vinnie Sperrazza on drums. The music is based on a set of musical palindromes that started out as graphic scores and were then reinterpreted into conventional music notation. Details here.
