Texas-born singer-songwriter Jaimee Harris plays Little Rock s White Water Tavern for the first time tonight, and she s getting a little help from a friend. Harris will appear with Searcy native Bonnie Montgomery.
Sam Turner and The Cactus Cats tried a few hats on for size, but the best fit was classic country music, the sort that sent Bud and Sissy to the dancefloor. The band's new album, Rodeo Hound, is an excellent throwback to Houston's honky-tonk heights. Turner discussed the album ahead of the band's record release party Saturday, November 6, at Neon Boots.
