Henderson County (Oct 10, 2013) - Three bears that climbed high into a persimmon tree on the campus of Hendersonville High School climbed down and walked away shortly after noon today, ending the morning excitment that had closed off Oakland Avenue and the school yard.
A project that began on paper eight years ago was completed on Aug. 3, 2022, 11 months ahead of schedule. Hendersonville High s renovations are complete.
Henderson County (Aug 1, 2022) - Ninety-six years after community leaders dedicated a new Hendersonville High School on Eighth Avenue West and seven years after Henderson County commissioners, School Board members, City Council members and Bearcat alumni embarked on a protracted, often contentious negotiation of what a new HHS would look like, community leaders will dedicate the finished product.
