Online session of Supreme Eurasian Economic Council scheduled for 21 May
MOSCOW, 18 May (BelTA) – The heads of state of the Eurasian Economic Union member states will participate in an online session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council on 21 May, BelTA learned from Iya Malkina, Aide to the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
There are 15 items on the agenda. The heads of state are expected to discuss approaches to setting prices and tariffs on the Eurasian Economic Union s common market of natural gas. The establishment of tariffs on gas transportation from third countries into the union for the sake of domestic consumption will be discussed. The heads of state will also look into approaches to advancing trade and economic cooperation with the main partners of the Eurasian Economic Union in the medium term, cooperation of the EAEU member states in production of medications and pharmaceutical substances for medical applications.

Prime ministers of EAEU, Cuba, Moldova, Uzbekistan to meet in Kazan on 29-30 April
MOSCOW, 26 April (BelTA) – A session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will take place in the Russian city of Kazan on 29-30 April, BelTA learned from a Facebook post by Iya Malkina, Aide to the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
According to the source, the heads of government of the Eurasian Economic Union s observer states – Cuba, Moldova, and Uzbekistan – have been traditionally invited to attend the session.
Participants of the session are expected to discuss results of a pilot project in the area of digital foreign trade and the possibility of reducing the limit, which defines how much merchandise individuals can import for personal use without paying an import duty.
