You are invited to be part of the November 25 Blaze of Lights parade. Chairperson Junior Weihrauch has mailed invitations to organizations that have been part of the Blaze tradition. The invitation reads, "From Victorian carolers to retro 1950s-inspired decorations to modern displays. Use your imagination and creativity to create an entry that celebrates Christmas traditions."
Voting for the best scarecrows in town is underway. The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce has posted the ballot at www.explorebluffton.com/scarecrows/ There are over 25 participating businesses. Chamber director Jim Enneking says "this year is going to be a close race." Voting ends at midnight on Sunday, October 29, with the winner to be announced alongside the winning ticket

Here are the winning numbers for the September Discovery Days prize drawing, A program of the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce. Three prizes carried over from last month. Prizes will be available for pickup at the Bluffton Public Library, 145 S. Main.
The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce encourages businesses to decorate the downtown area with a fall/scarecrow theme. Here are the guidelines: These decorations would either be attached to the lamp posts along Main Street or storefront window decorations, but the overall requirement is that they be three-dimensional.
