Police will provide an update to the public on the investigation into the shooting. Which occurred on shotwell street near 18th street last thursday. Officers shot and killed 45 year old luis gongora. Who was allegedly armed with a knife. Tomorrows meeting will take place at noon. At 3271 18th street. A man and woman from millbrae were shot this morning in what might be an attempted murder suicide. Deputies came to the home on the 200 block of la cruz avenue around 845 am. They found the man and woman with gunshot wounds. And took them to the hospital. Investigators did not say who they thought was the shooter. Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact the San Mateo County sheriff. San Francisco Police are still searching for a missing two yearold girl. And good soul. Wonderful mother. Did everything for her son. She was always there for her son. She stayed home. She did what she had to do as a parent. It was great. Reporter it was skye brunettis morning routine to take the family dog, walk her son to the bus stop, then return home. But this morning she didnt make it home. Police say 50yearold Barbara Caton of east islip driving this White Chrysler jumped the curb and killed brunetti and her dog. Police arent releasing details on what caused her to veer off union boulevard. The car struck the 25yearold right in front of her home. Caton was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Many of brunettis friends and family members came to the scene in disbelief. She was an amazing person. More than anything. Brunettis brother told me the car was speeding before it hit her. It was almost 8 00 tonight before streets reopened and people could stroll through the area, four hours after flames tore through the buildings. Firefighter were throwing things out of window. Reporter flames were out by the time adrianne knowle rushed through, getting texts from her roommate, their building was burning and full of smoke. Four people live in her flat, three in the one above. We have been told well able to salvage thing, passports, computers, all of that. Instantaneously, the roof looked like it exploded with fire.
