Aware, a Columbus, Ohio-based AI solution for governance, risk, compliance (GRC) and insights for digital collaboration technologies, raised $12m in Series B equity funding.
The round was led by New York-based Spring Mountain Capital with participation from Blue Heron Capital, Allos Ventures and existing investors Draper Triangle Ventures, Ohio Innovation Fund, JumpStart, Rev1 Ventures and JobsOhio.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate go-to-market efforts, increase partnerships, grow its integration ecosystem and support ongoing product research and development.
