Than 200 communities across the nation. Like many americans, our staff is staying close to home due to the coronavirus. Next, a look at one of our cities tour visits. We are about 4 10 of a mile from the library. President bush chose this site to be his final resting place. In april, about a year and a half ago now, we buried mrs. Bush here. And then in november, after his death in november and at the funeral six days later in december, he was brought up here with the up4141 and the special car. Amazingly, there people lined the tracks all the way from houston. Probably about 80 or 90 miles from houston here, and there were people lined up all along the tracks, all the way here. I was in a bus and we kind of followed the path of the train. It was just amazing. You could see the people all over the tracks. The train ended up at the university, about a mile from here. The casket was put in a hearse, brought here, and the corps cadets here lined the walkway on the other side of the graves

It has been the greatest honor of my life so far to tell her story. If you read the book, you know there are pictures in there because millicent lived a very visual, cinematic life. We have been fortunate to have chuck as part of the uscs society team for five years, prior to that he was 27 years working on the First Congress program. And so he has put together a very imaginative presentation using primary sources, letters of the times, where people wrote to one another about the science, the food, the culture, and the back and forth that made early days in washington. That being said, we invite you to stay with us for your questions and answers.
