The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released its fourth list of candidates for the upcoming assembly elections in Chhattisgarh. The elections will take place in two phases on November 7 and November 17, with vote counting on December 3. The Congress party is optimistic about winning a larger number of seats this time, as they secured 25 out of 29 ST-reserved seats in the 2018 elections.
Its candidates include a prime accused in a communal riot, the father of the victim of another, and a former minister who is the face of the party’s campaign against religious conversions
