he did an x-ray his lungs were fine which meant his heart wasn t. now more doctors and nurses and equipment come in. it s terrifying thing, they call a pediatric cardiologist dr. evans zon he was picking his mother up from the airport, luckily her plane was not delayed he got there very quickly. they did an echo cardiogram and found that billy was born with a heart disease and then they brought my wife in and they wheeled her in and the doctor told her what was going on and what the options were and decided to take her to children s hospital where there s a world renown cardiac surgeon who is by all accounts is a genius. so he put the baby in an ambulance at the children s hospital of los angeles, on monday morning, dr. starns opened his chest and fixed one of the two defects.
