A GANG of crooks went on a spree of break-ins which saw them steal an Xbox game and an Amazon package, days after one of them stole a Jaguar. Billy Alder, Billy Mundy and Shane Haggar could face prison sentences after admitting to the string of crimes. The spree came days after Haggar broke into another home and stole a Jaguar. The men, from Basildon, broke into the Billericay homes with the intent to steal items inside. Basildon Crown Court heard that Haggar, 19, of Lincoln Road, had broken into a home in The Vale, Stock and stolen a car key and wallet on March 9 this year.
THREE men have been charged with a string of burglaries which took place in Billericay. The series of burglaries and attempted burglaries took place on Friday. Two 20-year-olds from Basildon, Billy Alder of Ward Close and Billy Mundy of Trindehay, have been charged with five counts of attempted burglary and one count of burglary. Shane Haggar, 19, of Lincoln Road in the town, has been charged with three counts of burglary and five counts of attempted burglary. They are all due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates Court today.
