A solemn procession brought the body of Billerica Police Sgt. Ian Taylor to the Cataudella Funeral Home in Methuen on Sunday. Taylor, 49, died Friday after being injured while working a construction detail on Route 3A.
Middlesex DA Marian Ryan and Billerica Chief of Police Roy Frost said that Sgt. Ian Taylor, 59, was killed while working at a construction site on Billerica's Boston Road.
