The late David Bowie once told Conan O’Brien: “We get taught about all the big stuff. So it’s really all the small stuff you have to learn yourself.” Bowie was talking about cologne cheap cologne. His advice: Don’t buy.
A newspaper writer (Bill Flick) in Bloomington, Illinois, came up with a list of his own “small stuff” lessons.
Those lessons? Well. here are a few.
• The vacuum cord is never long enough.
• Never marry a girl whose father calls her “Princess.”
• Always needing to be right is one sure way to not be liked.
