The field in the Park City Council contest on Monday participated in the second candidate event in less than a week, mentioning a disparate set of topics.
Two of David Dobkin’s biggest priorities in his campaign for a seat on the Park City Council are in the nickname that will be listed on the ballot David “Pickleball Traffic” Dobkin.
The low-key nature of the event on Tuesday epitomized the early months of a campaign with three City Council seats on the ballot in November. There has been little tension in the campaign to date, and the candidates have seemed to be spending their time talking to voters on an individual basis or in small groups.
“It’s imperative to elect leaders who know and respect the history, know what can and cannot be done within existing laws, know what has been tried before and know what the community expects.”
