Some residents who were forced to evacuate can now return home. We are in Sonoma County, where many are returning home to the unknown. Reporter will check points remain for safety reasons, some evacuation orders are getting lifted. Some people are getting the go ahead to go home. Marin county is forcing new evacuation orders tonight. The rush to get out. This is our third scare here in the last three years. At the same time, people forced out by the flames return home for the first time tonight. Stories of heroism, how one man ended up saving his neighbors homes. I am happy that people get to go homes. We begin with that breaking news out of marin county. Good evening. The woodward fire is now threatening three dozen homes. Residents who live south of Inverness Park , fox drive, and northway are told to leave immediately. Emergency crews are asking those evacuees to go down first serve branches drake boulevard. Usually those Early Morning hours are critical and seeing some of the fire not spreading as rapidly and were looking at still another morning start where we have temperatures in the upper 60s, not much of a wind, but at times we get these gusts up to about 11 miles per hour.
