The first foal for Brittany Farms broodmare Shining Beauty has a unique story behind it.
The colt from 2020 and 2021 Dan Patch award winner Bettors Wish, “a very nice long legged brown colt that stands very well” according to the farm, has a special connection to Brittany Farms.
Bettors Wish and the dam Shining Beauty were both bred and raised by Brittany Farms. Shining Beauty is a stakes-winning Captaintreacherous daughter of world champion, Dan Patch and O’Brien Award winning mare American Jewel, who herself was Brittany Farms born and raised.

The first ever foal by Bettors Wish was born Valentine’s Day evening at Concord Stud Farm in Cream Ridge, New Jersey.
The foal, a colt, is from Rock Me Baby (1:50.4f - $379,048)
