There was plenty of entertainment at the Lima Mall parking lot prior to the fireworks Sunday night. Kevin Ashba kicked things off at 4:30 p.m., and SaMax performed at 6:30 p.m.

Lima Mall honors class of 2021 through new contest
LIMA Washington Prime Group, the parent company of the Lima Mall, is hosting a national contest called #ScholarSpree where the company is giving away $10,000 to 13 lucky winners who could win prizes ranging from $500 to $3,000 to spend at any of the company’s town center’s nationwide.
The contest will continue through Monday, June 7, with the winners announced on Wednesday, June 9.

Deck the malls with lots of shoppers

The line was long Saturday morning as people wait to get into Bath & Body Works inside the Lima Mall.

LIMA Kathy Wilson stood guard Saturday just inside Bath & Body Works at the Lima Mall. She was making sure everyone was wearing a mask and limiting the number of people in the store.
Personally, she’s changed how she has shopped for the holiday season this year due to the pandemic.
“I’ve had to do a lot of it online. When I do go online it’s for free shipping if they offer that but I like to patronize the stores to keep employees with a job,” Wilson said.
