Julian Edelman has retired from the NFL. His announcement video as seen below is both happy & sad. Happy that one of the toughest Pats of all time is actually retiring after a great career and we re sad to see him go but happy again that he can enjoy life with his family.
From tossing TD s as a slot receiver (possibly the best ever in that position) to the Super Bowl catch that will live forever in highlight reels Julian Edelman is a legend in New England.
It will be a bummer not seeing him line up with the offence this year but who knows - you may just catch him this summer tossing the pigskin from the 2nd level of the Wellfleet Beachcomber to fans below.
