Happy Birthday James!
Today is James’ birthday, and perhaps it’s appropriate that it falls on tax day every year. Just as taxes come due every April 15th, you always know that, rain or shine he’ll be there for you, no matter what. I’ve known him for nearly eight years now, and although I like to think of myself as a good guy, knowing James has helped show me just how far I still have to go. If you have a moment, shoot him an email and say hello.
A rousing ‘Happy Birthday’ to James ‘Lemme Tell You About My Boy Bernardrick’ McKinney!

What are your thoughts on Cleveland’s chances at the Super Bowl next season?
Browns, I really like how measured your team has been under still-newish GM Andrew Berry and coach Kevin Stefanski, even with a lot of money to spend. And new star safety John Johnson is a great example of that. Johnson did well, to be sure his three-year deal includes a $12 million signing bonus, and he’ll take home $24 million over the first two years. But the overall numbers, $33.75 million over three years, are manageable compared to what other top safeties are making.

We are in the middle of the 2021 NFL offseason which means a few different things. Notably among them is that the time has come for each team to decide whether or not they want to pick up the fifth-year options on their 2018 first-round picks.
The Dallas Cowboys took linebacker Leighton Vander Esch with the 19th overall pick in the draft held inside their own house at AT&T Stadium. Vander Esch had a phenomenal rookie season that earned him Second-Team All-Pro honors, but he has struggled to re-find that form ever since.
