Storage facilities coming
Health Minister St. Clair Prince highlighted the need for proper storage of COVID-19 related material and plans to provide same.

Construction of storage facilities, specifically for items to be used in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, is expected to be constructed soon.
This will be funded from a sum of EC$326,000 that government has allocated to providing infrastructural support, as part of the COVID-19 response in 2021.
According to St Clair ‘Jimmy’ Prince, Minister of Health, there was not sufficient space to efficiently store and manage the COVID-19 and Health Disaster Unit supplies.

Medical Cannabis Pharmacy opened here
Government and Green Lava official at the official opening of the Pharmacy.
There have been some challenges as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic on the progress of the local Medicinal Cannabis Industry. However it has not stopped the opening of St. Vincent and the Grenadines first Medical Cannabis Pharmacy. almost a month ago.
On Wednesday, December 23, 2020 Green Lava Labs Pharmacy, opened their pharmacy located on the ground floor of the Nicholls Building on Bentick Square, Kingstown.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Operation Manager of Green Lava (SVG) Inc. Hilton Dalzell thanked the Government and the Medical Cannabis Association (MCA) for its cooperation and support thus far, and informed that the pharmacy will offer a suite of medicinal cannabis products that will aid both local and visiting qualifying patients with their medical needs.
